If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call or email. When venues are available we will send out email notices of classes beginning and we will endeavor to keep the calendar page updated. Do remember to click on the words on the calendar to get more information on each event.
No partners are required. We encourage but do not enforce rotation of partnerships. It does help a partnership to rotate through because
too often there is something that you don't realize you are doing wrong because you continually do it wrong with the same person.
When you dance through the line you find and fix those problems BEFORE they become a habit. It's the easiest and least frustrating way to learn, but you are always welcome to stay with your partner (we just won't guarantee you will get it before you give up and strangle each other....just kidding). More than once we have seen couples give up on dance because they struggle with each other. That's not necessary and rotating will alleviate the problem most of the time.

If you have a group of 6 or more and a place to learn we are always willing to bring the lessons to you! Just ask.

Classes for Hayden Parks and Recreation in Hayden!
We are into Fall and ballroom classes are beginning once again for Hayden Park and Rec.
Monday nights from 7-8:15pm (no partner required for any classes)
Partnerships are encouraged, but not forced, to rotate. Your comfort is important to us.

(about 3 blocks east of Government Way on Hayden Ave)

CLASS CANCELED
Starting Monday, January 9th, through the 16th, 23rd, and 30th. Cost for the month is $44 per person or $80 per couple. Class begins at 7:00pm and ends at 8:15pm. We must have 4 people taking the class in order to reserve the school cafeteria.
FEBRUARY
Starting Monday, February 6th, through the 13th, 20th, and 27th. Cost for the month is $44 per person or $80 per couple. Class begins at 7:00pm and ends at 8:15pm. We must have 4 people taking the class in order to reserve the school cafeteria.
All classes are simplified, music slowed down and gradually brought up to speed to make the transition easy. No previous experience or partners are required. Families are encouraged to come together....Young people 7 years and up are welcome. The instructor, National Champion competitor 2004, Ryan Starr, has trained hundreds of students since spring of 2005. His passion is to share his love for dance with people, young and old alike, to keep ballroom, as well as other styles of dance, alive and growing in the Northwest .
We will try to organize dances on some 'off' nights to have practice opportunities for you and, if you are on our mailing list, we'll let you know of the free dances that are around the area during the summer. Come on out and learn how to get the most out of life and music. Enjoy some good clean social interaction! There are a lot more opportunities for dancing around this area than folks realize andthere is nothing we'd love more than to see dance floors crowded with new dancers, keeping this life skill alive! It is truly our passion to share what we love. We're looking forward to seeing you on the dance floor soon.
